Frequently asked questions

Why do kitchen and bathroom outlets trip sometimes? +

Those are GFCI (ground-fault circuit interrupter) outlets—they shut off if they detect leaking current, protecting you from shock near water. We replace worn GFCIs and install new ones to meet current Georgia code. If nuisance tripping continues, we diagnose deeper issues.

Are USB outlets worth installing in a new remodel? +

Yes. USB combination outlets eliminate the need for bulky adapters and cost only $20–$40 more per location. We install them in bedrooms, kitchens, and living rooms during remodels. Fast charging and cleaner than power strips.

Does adding more outlets require new circuits? +

Depends on the circuit load. Kitchen counters must have dedicated 20A circuits per code; most other areas can share. We measure existing loads and add circuits if needed. Never overload—we size correctly to prevent breaker tripping.
