Frequently asked questions

How many parking-lot light poles does a 10,000 sq ft lot need? +

Rule of thumb: one pole per 3,000–4,000 sq ft, spaced evenly. For 10,000 sq ft, that's 2–3 poles (typically 20–30 ft tall). We do a site walk, measure the space, and recommend pole count and fixture type (LED, HPS, etc.) for even coverage.

Can you retrofit existing poles with LED without replacing them? +

Yes. If poles are in good shape, we swap out old HPS/HID fixtures with new LED — cleaner, brighter, 60% less energy. Photocell and timer controls can be added. Often, retrofit is cheaper and faster than new pole install.

What's the cost difference between pole lights and wall packs? +

Poles: $2,500–$5,000 per pole (foundation, install, fixture). Wall packs: $300–$800 per unit (simpler). For large lots, poles are more efficient and even. Wall packs work for building perimeter or small areas. We recommend based on your layout.
