Frequently asked questions
How many parking-lot light poles does a 10,000 sq ft lot need? +
Rule of thumb: one pole per 3,000–4,000 sq ft, spaced evenly. For 10,000 sq ft, that's 2–3 poles (typically 20–30 ft tall). We do a site walk, measure the space, and recommend pole count and fixture type (LED, HPS, etc.) for even coverage.
Can existing poles be reviewed for LED retrofit? +
Yes. Pole condition, mounting, wiring, fixture compatibility and control needs must be reviewed before confirming whether retrofit or replacement is appropriate.
What's the cost difference between pole lights and wall packs? +
Poles: $2,500–$5,000 per pole (foundation, install, fixture). Wall packs: $300–$800 per unit (simpler). For large lots, poles are more efficient and even. Wall packs work for building perimeter or small areas. We recommend based on your layout.
